Welcome to our newest hire, Meaghan McAneeley, who brings a wealth of talent, creative energy and detail to the Clevers Media team. A graduate of UBC with a B.A. Hon in English Literature, and the Langara Publishing diploma program, Megan was also a Canadian Merit Loran Scholar. She’s held placements at Pacific Rim Magazine, W49 magazine, Geist magazine, and previously an internship at ECW Press – we know Meaghan will help our business help your business.

Cultural arts hub, The Nub is launching imminently… this mobile app that you can download to your smart phone will include curated content from some of the most interesting magazines from across our great nation: Geist, SubTerrain, Taddle Creek, and Matrix. Don’t miss it.
In August, we began work with the Timis Corporation, based in London UK. They are a natural resource company focusing on mining, oil and gas. We’ll be working with them on a rebranding of their corporation, a redesign of their website and the development of all new print materials. So far, the logo is well under way, and we’re about to break ground on the website.
Throughout the fall, we’ll be redesigning and rewriting all the content on the website for Holloway Zaiser Group, a consulting company focusing on assisting organizations as they create and navigate change; they also do mediation and strategic planning, and offer workshops and training across North America.
We’re also pleased to be working with the award-winning Eighteen Bridges magazine, out of Edmonton, Alberta. In addition to developing a Media Kit in preparation to take over their advertising sales, we’ll also be expanding their reach with some creative audience development initiatives.
This year marks the 30th Anniversary of the Ryerson Review of Journalism.
As the leading publication covering journalism in Canada – and the only one to offer both print editions and an online presence – it attracts notice on tables and desks in every newsroom in Canada, and a story in the Review is a must-read in news organizations that are touched by its reports, both directly and otherwise.
The upcoming issue will feature highlights to mark the anniversary, watch for it in December 2012.
International Web exPress has hired us to manage the advertising sales for one of their publications, WeCycle, on bike community culture and the environment. We’re not only helping them to launch the publication, but we are also exploring new and unique possibilities around the brands that would benefit from exposure in the publication.
WeCycle publishes six issues a year and has a distribution of 5,000. WeCycle is dedicated to cycling commuters, their families and their organizations. Writers from celebrated fixtures of the cycling community including the B.C. Cycling Coalition and HUB (a charitable organization) contribute stories about bike news, products, safety and infrastructure.
