Broken Pencil magazine
We manage advertising sales for Broken Pencil, in addition to securing paid sponsorships for Canzine (an annual one day festival that takes place in Toronto and Vancouver where exhibitors from across Canada gather to exhibit their zines, comics, books, and other independently published projects). We also work with Broken Pencil on marketing and monetizing “The Nub”, a mobile app featuring Canadian content curated from independent literary, arts and cultural magazines.
Broken Pencil: the magazine of zine culture and the independent arts is the definitive guide to independent publishing and culture in Canada. Founded in 1995 to promote Canadian indie publishing and culture, the magazine is an award winning, recognized leader in chronicling North American underground culture.
